Like quite a few web comic artists, I've got a collection of songs that all remind me of my project. This is a growing playlist with songs that have yet to be added.

Some songs remind me of Seeing Red as a whole project, others are very much tied to specific episodes and plot points. Such songs will only be added once those parts of the story are publicly released.

This song encompasses some important aspects about Gayle and Aaron's relationship, and Episode 9 and 10 are really when that relationship begins.
Episode 12
91 - Bleachers

"I'm here, but I'm not/just like her, I'm not home"
​
This episode's all about Gayle's reflection on moments from the past, specifically the ones she can't seem to get away from. Every time I hear this song, it makes me think of all the memories Gayle keeps locked up in her head.
Episode 24
Move Me - Half Alive

"I want you to move me/step into the moonlight/throw your weight into me"

This episode changed drastically over the course of 3 drafts. This song came on while I was writing that final draft, and I found myself replaying it because of how much the song just felt like it belonged in the scene. It's vulnerable, soft, and it reflects on how much one relationship can affect someone's well-being.
Pompeii MMXXIII - Bastille, Hans Zimmer
"But if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like nothing changed at all?"

This new rendition of Pompeii made me hear all the lyrics in a new and far more melancholic way. Surprisingly, I heard this song for the first time on the day Episode 24 came out (I'd spent the whole morning worrying if readers would like an episode that had become very special to me, so I put on some music to calm my nerves). As I listened, I couldn't help but think of all those raw emotions Aaron was experiencing at the time.
